Three Steps

From Installation to Protection in One Day

1

We Install the Sensor

Our field team visits your farm and installs a compact sensor unit beside each pond. The process takes about 30 minutes per pond.

  • Solar-powered: no electricity or wires needed
  • Waterproof and built for tropical conditions
  • Works with WiFi or LoRa radio (no internet required at the pond)
  • We handle all maintenance and probe replacements
2

Sensors Collect Data, AI Watches for Danger

Every 10 minutes, the sensor reads dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, and salinity. Data flows to our cloud where AI models analyze patterns across all your ponds.

The system learns what normal looks like for your specific ponds, and spots the subtle changes that come before a mortality event. Not just when levels are bad right now, but when they are trending toward danger.

Alert Timeline (Example)

Monday 6:00 AM
All parameters normal. DO 6.4 mg/L.
Tuesday 2:00 PM
AI detects slow DO decline trend. Watch status.
Tuesday 8:00 PM
SMS sent: "Pond BL-003: oxygen declining. Turn on backup aerator tonight."
Wednesday 6:00 AM
Farmer followed advice. DO stabilized at 5.1 mg/L. Crisis averted.
3

You Take Simple Action, Save Your Harvest

Every alert comes with a clear, specific recommendation. No guessing, no complicated readings to interpret.

Example actions you might receive:

  • "Turn on additional aerator for the next 12 hours"
  • "Reduce feeding by 50% for the next 48 hours"
  • "Perform a 20% water exchange this morning"
  • "Apply probiotics to reduce ammonia buildup"

What We Measure and Why It Matters

Dissolved Oxygen (DO)

The most important measurement. Dissolved oxygen is what your shrimp breathe. When it drops below 3 mg/L, shrimp become stressed. Below 2 mg/L, they start dying.

DO crashes typically happen between 2-5 AM when algae stop producing oxygen and bacteria consume it. Most farmers are asleep. Our sensor never sleeps.

Sensor: Galvanic DO probe, accuracy +/- 0.3 mg/L, reads every 10 minutes

pH Level

Optimal range for shrimp is 7.5-8.5. But pH does more than just affect shrimp directly. A sudden pH increase converts harmless ammonium (NH4+) into toxic ammonia (NH3).

By tracking pH together with temperature, we can calculate exactly how toxic the ammonia in your pond is at any moment.

Sensor: Glass electrode pH probe, accuracy +/- 0.1 pH

Temperature

Shrimp are cold-blooded. When temperature swings more than 3 degrees C in 24 hours, their immune system weakens. That is when diseases like White Spot Syndrome and EMS strike.

We track temperature trends over days, not just snapshots. A slow warming trend over 3 days can be just as dangerous as a sudden drop.

Sensor: DS18B20 waterproof probe, accuracy +/- 0.5 degrees C

Salinity / Conductivity

Salinity affects how much oxygen water can hold (saltier water holds less). It also directly impacts shrimp health: each species has an optimal salinity range.

We factor salinity into our DO calculations so predictions are accurate for your specific water conditions, whether brackish or saltwater.

You choose how you want to be notified. SMS works on any phone, no smartphone needed.

SMS Alerts

Works on any phone, feature phone or smartphone. No internet needed. Messages in Vietnamese with clear instructions.

Mobile App

For smartphone users: see live readings for all your ponds, view history charts, and get push notifications. Green/Yellow/Red status at a glance.

WhatsApp

Already use WhatsApp? We can send alerts there too. Share your pond status with family or farm workers in a group chat.

Simple Status System

Green: All Good
Yellow: Watch
Red: Act Now

You do not need to understand sensor readings. Green means relax. Yellow means pay attention. Red means act now. We tell you exactly what to do.

Prediction Technology

How Our AI Sees Problems Before You Do

Traditional monitoring tells you there is a problem right now. By then, it is often too late. Ao Minh is different. Our system watches for patterns that come before problems:

Pattern: Accelerating DO Decline

Dissolved oxygen does not just drop. It drops faster and faster before a crash. Our AI detects this acceleration 48-72 hours before the crash happens.

Pattern: Dangerous pH + Temperature Combination

A pH of 8.2 is normally fine. A temperature of 31 degrees C is normally fine. But together, they make ammonia 3 times more toxic. Our AI knows these combinations.

Pattern: Multi-Day Decline Trends

A single bad reading might be noise. But when DO, pH, and temperature all trend in the wrong direction for 2-3 days, that is a real signal. Our AI watches trends, not just snapshots.

Pattern: Regional Pond Correlation

If your neighbor's ponds are showing stress, yours might be next. Weather events, water source contamination, and disease outbreaks affect whole areas. We monitor entire clusters.

Important note: We are transparent about accuracy. In the early stages, we start with reliable threshold-based alerts (proven technology). As we collect more data from more ponds, the AI predictions get more accurate over time. Every new pond makes the system smarter for everyone.
